About EV Poetry

How does your EV move you?

You know it. You touch the pedal, the world responds around you. The surge is pure. The sound is pure. The air is pure. It’s pure electric.

Too many people don’t understand. This is what driving was always meant to be. Pure movement. Before they invented mufflers and electric starters and four-barrel carburetors and Esso stations and the other complications that lulled people into choosing internal combustion.

Share your experience with an EV. Let others know how it moves you.

I found my EV Poet in my first weeks with my 2013 Nissan Leaf. I looked forward to take-off, even if I was only going to the bank. I loved plugging it in at the end of the day. I was at peace sitting at a traffic light, while the ICEs burned gas and wasted money around me. I got a kick out of popping out of ECO mode for a few minutes (and there were no speed traps around). I wrote down these feelings, and EV Poetry was born.

Thanks for the memories…
